Privacy Policy

Growth Essentials, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a Delaware limited liability company, publishes Roadtrip Games & Quizzes for Android (the “App”). This policy explains how we handle information in that Android app, including when you play games, use subscription features, share a card, or contact us. No registration or developer account is required.

1. Information on Your Device

The App includes Truth or Dare, Never Have I Ever, Heart to Heart, Heads Up, Spin the Bottle, and Tic Tac Toe. Player names entered for Truth or Dare and the current game state are handled locally on your device. The App does not send those names or your spoken answers to its analytics or subscription services. It does not record your conversations or require access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or precise device location.

The App stores free-play usage counters so that allowances remain consistent between sessions. Android may include those counters in device backup or device-to-device transfer, depending on your device and settings. The App’s backup rules include the allowance counters; player names and the analytics installation identifier are not included in those rules.

2. Analytics and Crash Information

We use Mixpanel to understand how the App is used and improve its functionality and stability. The App assigns a randomly generated installation identifier, and the SDK uses identifiers to associate activity from the same installation. These records are pseudonymous: not providing a name or email does not make the records anonymous.

The information sent to Mixpanel includes:

• game and mode selections, gameplay and paywall events, and whether the installation has subscription access;
• automatic app events and crash information, including technical details about an error;
• installation and SDK identifiers, app version, operating system, device and screen information, and network-related properties;
• approximate city, region and country derived by Mixpanel from the network IP address. This does not use GPS or precise-location permission.

Mixpanel states that it discards the IP address after deriving approximate location. See its explanation of default properties and privacy policy. The current Android app does not include an analytics opt-out control.

3. Purchases and Subscriptions

When subscription services are available, Google Play processes payments and RevenueCat helps us verify purchases, restore purchases, and determine access to paid features. RevenueCat processes purchase and subscription records, such as the purchased product, transaction references, purchase and expiry information, and an app-specific customer identifier. We use this information to provide subscription functionality and understand subscription use. Subscription-access status is also sent to Mixpanel as described above.

We do not receive your full payment-card details. Google handles payment information under its own practices. See the Google privacy policy and RevenueCat privacy policy.

4. Sharing Cards and Contacting Support

When you choose to share a card, the App creates an image in its local cache and opens Android’s share sheet. A Truth or Dare card may include the selected player’s name. The app or recipient you choose receives the image and handles it under its own practices. Check the card and obtain any participant’s permission before sharing their name or other personal content. We cannot recall copies you have shared.

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include, such as a problem description, screenshot or purchase reference. We use it to respond and resolve your request. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details.

5. How and Why We Use or Disclose Information

We use the information described above to run the App, maintain free-play allowances and paid access, understand usage, diagnose problems, provide support, and meet legal obligations. Mixpanel and RevenueCat process information to provide the services described in this policy. Google Play and any sharing destination also have their own data practices. We do not sell your data. The App does not contain an advertising SDK or use the Android advertising identifier.

We may also disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, safety, or the security of the service. Where a legal basis for processing is required, the basis depends on the purpose: providing requested app and subscription services, legitimate interests in improving reliability and responding to support requests where permitted, and compliance with legal obligations. Any consent required by applicable law must be obtained.

6. Retention and Your Choices

Persisted local data remains in app storage until it is removed, for example using Android’s app-storage controls or by uninstalling the App. Saved free-play counters may be restored from a device backup. Shared card images are cached locally; older cached cards are cleaned up when a subsequent card is shared, and Android may also clear the cache.

We retain server-side information for the purposes described in this policy. Retention depends on the information and its continuing usefulness for subscription access, support, diagnosing problems, resolving disputes, and meeting legal recordkeeping requirements. Information held by service providers is separate from local app data. Uninstalling the App does not automatically delete those records, existing device backups, or previously shared cards, and does not cancel a Google Play subscription.

There is no developer account or in-app data-deletion control. For questions about retention or requests concerning your information, including deletion, contact support@growth-essentials.com. We may need additional information to locate the relevant records and verify a request. Because analytics records use installation-based identifiers, a name or email address alone may not identify them. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. Contacting us does not cancel a subscription.

7. Security and International Processing

The App uses encrypted connections to its analytics and subscription services. We apply reasonable safeguards, but no transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Growth Essentials, LLC is based in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. International processing is subject to applicable data-protection requirements and any required transfer safeguards.

8. Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. These rights are subject to applicable law and exceptions. Contact us to make an enquiry or exercise a right. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

9. Age Requirements

The minimum age under our terms is 13. You must also meet any higher age required by your local law or the App’s applicable store rating and access requirements. Decks marked 18+ are for adults aged 18 and older only. A subscription does not remove these restrictions. Users who cannot legally agree to the terms on their own must involve a parent or guardian and obtain any permission required by law.

The App does not ask for a date of birth. If you believe we have received a child’s information contrary to applicable law, contact us so we can investigate and take the action required.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update this policy and will revise its effective date when we do. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required for a material change. This policy covers the Android app published by Growth Essentials, LLC; services you visit through external links have their own policies.
