Replay: The Daily Bar
Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 10, 2026 · Growth Essentials, LLC
Replay is a chart-learning game published by Growth Essentials, LLC, a Delaware company. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the iOS app and contact Replay support. We are responsible for the personal information processed for the purposes described here.
You can learn without creating a Replay account. Learning progress is stored on your device. Configured app-usage analytics, crash reporting, and campaign attribution run automatically. Subscription services make the requests needed to provide purchases, membership access, and subscription reporting. Replay does not show an analytics consent prompt or an in-app analytics switch.
Learning progress and settings on your device
Replay saves lesson completions, assessment attempts, practice choices, results, dates, practice plans, saved friend nicknames and result snapshots, onboarding answers, and preferences locally. These records make reviews, progress, and your saved history work. Replay does not provide a cloud account or automatic friend synchronization.
A limited activity journal is also kept locally by default. It records app actions and selected details such as lesson or chart identifiers, outcomes, days since installation, membership tier, and language. These records are stored with the app’s local data. Deleting Replay from the device removes these local records, but does not delete reports already received by a service provider.
Your device or Apple backup settings may include app data in backups.
Purchases and membership
Apple processes App Store payments. We do not receive your payment card number or Apple Account password. Apple provides transaction and subscription information so that paid access can be checked, restored, renewed, or removed when a subscription expires or is refunded.
Replay uses services for subscription management and reporting, and for delivery of membership offers. When these services are configured, they can connect when the app opens, including before you make a purchase. Information can include a randomly assigned service identifier, products, receipts or transaction records, purchase history, entitlement and renewal status, paywall context, and app, operating system, language, device-region setting, currency, and other technical details needed to operate the services. The service identifier connects subscription status with the correct paywall experience; it is not your name.
Subscription records also support revenue reporting, customer support, and fraud prevention. Network services receive technical request information such as an IP address and may derive a country from it. Replay does not request GPS location or access to your contacts.
Learn more in the Apple privacy policy, subscription service privacy policy, and privacy policy for membership offers.
App-usage analytics and crash reports
Replay automatically sends selected app interaction events and crash reports to an analytics service to understand usage and diagnose crashes. Reports can include selected usage and purchase-flow events, lesson or chart identifiers, outcomes, a random service identifier, app and device context, and crash stack traces. Crash reports are saved locally and sent on a later app launch.
Replay sends selected app events rather than recording screens or sessions. Session replay, screenshots, automatic interaction capture, crash activity trails, and location enrichment are disabled. Freeform exception values and crash messages are removed before reports are sent. Saved friend names and shared images are not attached to these reports. Service identifiers are pseudonymous; they do not make the information completely anonymous.
The service that delivers membership offers records interactions with those offers and their performance to operate and evaluate them. Learn more in the analytics service privacy policy and privacy policy for membership offers.
Campaign attribution
Replay uses a campaign attribution service to measure installs and campaign outcomes. This service receives installation and technical request information and events such as completing onboarding or a daily chart. The subscription service supplies subscription events associated with the attribution service’s installation identifier. The service that presents membership offers receives campaign attributes to select relevant offers; subscription events come from the subscription service.
Replay does not request App Tracking Transparency permission. Its app-controlled partner integration does not forward contact details, advertising identifiers, click identifiers, cookies, or raw link payloads. Standard Apple Ads attribution uses information supplied by Apple’s attribution system. Provider attribution remains subject to Apple’s platform restrictions. This description does not imply that all provider campaign processing is anonymous or limited to aggregate data. See the campaign attribution service privacy policy.
Reminders and sharing
Reminders are optional local notifications scheduled on your device after you grant notification permission. Replay does not register for remote push notifications or read your calendar. You can turn reminders off in Replay or change notification permission in iOS Settings.
Sharing happens when you choose it. A saved replay link can contain a nickname, random invitation identifier, and result snapshot so another person can inspect the saved choices. This is not a private cloud friends list. Anyone who receives a link or image may retain or share a copy. Only include information you intend the recipient to see.
Story sharing hands a result image to the selected app through the device’s sharing facilities or a temporary local pasteboard. You complete any post in that app. We do not publish a story automatically. The app you select processes what you share under its own privacy policy and your settings there.
Support and other disclosures
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include, such as a problem description, screenshot, or purchase reference. We use this to answer you and resolve the issue. Do not send passwords or full payment card details.
We use service providers to operate the functions described above. We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to meet a legal obligation, protect rights or security, or handle a business transfer subject to appropriate protections. Campaign-related disclosures are described in the attribution section above.
Why we process information
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on providing the service you request for local functionality, purchases, and membership; legitimate interests in understanding app interactions, diagnosing crashes, measuring campaign and subscription performance, responding to support requests, and protecting the service, where permitted and where those interests do not override your rights; and legal obligations for required records or disclosures. You can contact us to exercise the rights described below.
Retention, deletion, and security
Local learning records remain in the app’s storage until that data is removed, for example when you delete Replay from the device. The local activity journal has a bounded history. We and our service providers retain server-side information only as needed for its purpose, taking into account active membership, support needs, diagnostic usefulness, dispute resolution, and legal recordkeeping requirements.
Deleting Replay does not cancel an Apple subscription, delete subscription or diagnostic records or caches held by service providers, erase Apple backups, or recall files and links already shared. To request deletion of information held by us or our providers, contact us below. We may need a purchase reference or other reasonable identifying information to locate the correct records and verify the request. We will explain any information we must retain and why.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and its processing. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Growth Essentials is based in the United States, and service providers may process information there or in other countries. Where required, international transfers must use applicable legal safeguards, such as approved contractual protections.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions. Contact us to exercise them; we may reasonably verify your request and will respond within the period required by applicable law. You will not be treated unfairly for exercising a privacy right.
Younger users
Replay is an educational game and does not ask for a date of birth. Younger users should involve a parent or guardian before making a purchase, sharing a nickname or result, or using connected services. Where a child cannot legally provide consent, an adult responsible for them must provide any permission required by law. If you believe we have received a child’s personal information without required permission, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where required.
Changes and contact
We will update the effective date when this policy changes and provide additional notice or obtain new consent where required for a material change. This policy covers Replay; websites or apps you visit through external links have their own practices.
